Volunteer: Big Event for Little Kids
Volunteers are being sought to help with a booth at the Big Event for Little Kids. We will be helping children decorate career hats to wear home. The event is Saturday, April 12th. Volunteer time slots include 8:30-11:00, 11:00-2:00 and 2:00-4:30. We'll need no more than three volunteers per shift and you may volunteer for more than one shift. If interested, please contact Brian Johnson, Current Program Manager at 593-3408.

How to Work a Room
Ever get tongue tied, nervous or freeze up in social situations? Do you wish you could be one of those people who can walk into a room of strangers and leave with new business leads and even a few new friends? Then you can't afford to miss this presentation!

Join Diane Roundy, Director of Business Development for Schenck Business Solutions as she presents, "How To Work A Room." Diane will discuss networking basics and address how to meet key people, hold lively conversations with strangers and obtain leads.

Networking is such an important part of all our professional lives, wouldn't it be great for someone to show you how to do it right and with success? Don't shy away from social settings, learn to make the most of them. You're encouraged to bring your friends and coworkers to this presentation at Rock Garden on Tuesday, April 22nd at 5:00. Member Profile: Peter Weiss
I moved to the Green Bay area when I was in third grade and lived here until I went to college.  I went to Marquette for a year and then finished my education at UW-Madison with degrees in History and Religious Studies.  When my wife and I found out we were having a baby we immediately decided to move back to Green Bay to be closer to our family and the community we grew up in.  I spent a year in youth ministry at a local parish before taking a position as a personal banker at Nicolet National Bank in September 2006. I currently serve as Current's Vice Chair.
