Read to Lead Schedule Announced
The 2008-2009 Read to Lead schedule is complete. Facilitators and book selections can be obtained by clicking here. All discussions are hosted by The Daily Buzz at 130 E Walnut in Green Bay from 5:30-7:00. It is not required that you have read the book, simply that you enjoy the conversation. RSVP is requested this year due to limited space.

Philosophy and History
Current launched this reading group to encourage young professionals to pursue professional development through reading.  The program offers participants a chance to network and to reflect on leadership, best practices, and other special topics pertinent to a variety of industries.  The program is also intended to provide an opportunity for young professionals to interact with area leaders who have significant work experience and are generally more advanced in their careers.

Event Overview: Hawaiian Luau
Nearly 100 people attended our Hawaiian Luau membership drive that netted 18 new members. Attendees were treated to a pig roast buffet, entertained by the dancers of Mana-Pasifika and enjoyed an evening of good music and fun games. Click here to see photos of the event.

Downtown Green Bay Values Your Feedback
The Downtown Green Bay Business Development Committee invites you to share your feedback on multiple issues surrounding downtown development and culture through a brief online survey.  The survey is open to area residents, employees or visitors who would like to share their views about the present and future of downtown Green Bay.

The survey is open from July 29th through August 18th with results shared in early September.  The committee believes the survey will help downtown planners and developers make sound decisions about the Green Bay market. It will also help cultural leaders strategize areas of opportunities with events and family activities. Please note your individual responses will be kept confidential but the overall results will be publicized.

Click here to take the survey.

Rotary Group Study Exchange
The Rotary Club of Green Bay is announcing a program geared towards individuals age 25-40. Click here to learn more about this program or contact Downtown Rotary Club President David Yeghiaian.
