About Read to Lead
Current launched this reading group to encourage young
professionals to pursue professional development through
reading. The program offers participants a chance to
network and to reflect on leadership, best practices,
and other special topics pertinent to a variety of
industries. The program is also intended to provide an
opportunity for young professionals to interact with
area leaders who have significant work experience and
are generally more advanced in their careers. It is
not required that you have read the book, simply that
you enjoy the conversation.

make the workplace more fun and engaging. In Seattle's
Pike Place Fish Market, employees fill fish orders by
tossing fish through the air prior to wrapping to the
delight of customers and onlookers. The result of
creating a fun work environment has been higher sales
and more satisfied customers. This presentation will
demonstrate how to apply the basic principles of the
Fish! philosophy into your work environment. Presented
